UNIGIS Master Thesis: UAVSAR vs. Sentinel-1: What SAR images reveal about the distribution of mangroves on the Pacific Coast of Colombia
Mangrove monitoring in tropical regions is limited by the constant presence of clouds. This article explores how SAR images from Sentinel-1 and UAVSAR overcome these limitations and compares their performance in mapping mangroves along the Pacific Coast of Colombia.
