Individual specialisation:
During the program and beyond
Completion of most optional modules is reserved for active UNIGIS students and UNIGIS graduates. Active UNIGIS students may take optional modules free of charge as part of, and within the scope of, their elective coursework. UNIGIS graduates who wish to complete optional modules after finishing their UNIGIS distance learning program in order to stay professionally up to date receive particularly favorable terms.
Selected optional modules can also be booked independently as so-called UNIGIS-Courses. As a result, they are open to people who are (not yet) UNIGIS students. If a UNIGIS program is subsequently started, a large portion of the course fees from the UNIGIS-Courses will be credited toward the program fee—meaning the UNIGIS study fee is reduced accordingly.
